Your Implementation Plan

“

Before we started, I was feeling quite overwhelmed by all the AI options out there. My biggest realisation was how much I didn't know about what I could be doing. With AI evolving as quickly as it does, you can learn some of it on your own, but there is real value in working with someone who has tested these tools, been in the weeds with them, and become an expert in this space.

Who leads the programme

Led by Holly Cope and industry-leading AI and legal experts

Holly is a former lawyer, ranked #1 in LegalTech & Legal Entrepreneurs by Favikon. She investigates legal teams and examines their workflows to pinpoint where AI could save time, reduce bottlenecks and improve the quality of their work, then trains them to put those opportunities into practice.

Every example in this programme comes from real problems uncovered in that work, from drafting the same documents again and again to searching for previous advice, chasing missing information and preparing bills.

Alongside Holly

Weekly guest sessions with general counsel, knowledge and innovation leaders and AI governance specialists, plus office hours with the AI engineers who work on our audits.

I believe Holly has a strategic and efficient approach, focusing on what is truly needed to use AI effectively, and this is what makes her training stand out.
Alessandra NaiaSenior Associate, Bird & Bird LLP
Holly is particularly skilled at helping organisations avoid the common pitfalls of AI implementation, where technology is purchased but adoption remains low and return on investment is never fully realised. Her advice is pragmatic, commercially focused and grounded in the realities of how people work.

Our Promise

You'll leave with:

  • A working AI agent built around your workload
  • The prompting skills to get useful, consistent outputs
  • Reusable skills for recurring legal tasks
  • Clear governance for using it responsibly
  • A plan to put it into practice
No prior AI knowledge or coding experience required.
EU Artificial Intelligence Act

Evidence of AI literacy, mapped to Article 4 of the EU AI Act

Since February 2025, organisations using AI in the EU have had to take measures to support their staff's AI literacy. Every session in this programme is designed around that requirement, and the work you do is documented as you go.

  • An AI literacy evidence portfolio for every participant
  • Before-and-after readiness scores, measured in weeks one and six
  • A record of the training, governance work and testing completed
  • A consolidated portfolio for teams, ready to share internally

The portfolio documents the AI literacy measures you have taken. It is not a certificate of legal compliance.

What clients say
“

During the session, Holly showed us how to build a specialist legal updates assistant capable of researching, filtering and analysing developments relevant to our membership. The level of detail, structure and quality of the resulting output exceeded expectations and provided a framework we can continue to adapt for future projects. Holly’s legal background was evident throughout, particularly in her focus on accuracy, risk management and source verification.

We left the session with practical skills, a working solution, and numerous ideas for applying the same methodology across other areas of legal practice. Although the demonstration focused on creating a legal updates assistant in Claude, the principles Holly taught can easily be adapted to other AI platforms, workflows and use cases.

I would highly recommend Holly to any legal team seeking practical, responsible and strategically valuable AI training.

FAQs
Your questions, answered
How is this different from the AI training my firm already runs?
Most law-firm AI training is generic, vendor-led and disconnected from real work. Practitioners on Reddit call it “worse than no training at all” because it raises pressure without building capability. This cohort is live, built around your own workflows, and ends with a tested agent you actually use in practice, with expert guest modules from industry-leading voices.
Is my client data safe?
Confidentiality and privilege are the single biggest blocker to legal AI adoption. Firms are killing entire AI roadmaps over it, and clients are now actively asking where their data goes. Module 3 builds your governance guardrails (data access, privilege, GDPR and human review) before you build anything, so confidentiality is designed in, not bolted on.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The programme is built for lawyers, not developers. You’ll build a working agent using your own legal expertise, translated into prompts, context and reusable skills. By the end you’ll have built one yourself, without writing production code.
I’m in-house, not in private practice. Is this for me?
Yes. The cohort is deliberately mixed: practising lawyers, in-house teams, KM, innovation and legal ops professionals, because adoption looks different on each side. In-house practitioners are already building agents for intake triage, Slack-channel FAQ generation and contract review, and the programme is built around your own workflow, whatever your setting.
How much time does it take?
Six weeks of live sessions, with a capstone implementation project. The programme is designed around real work, not added to it. You’ll leave with one implemented use case you actually use, not a certificate and a notebook.
What if I’m sceptical of the AI hype?
Good, so are most lawyers. This programme treats scepticism as a feature: you’ll learn to judge when an agent is appropriate, when it isn’t, and how to prove the difference.
Which tools will we use?
Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT and more.
